Advanced Modeling Tips and Techniques
Here are just a few tips and techniques used by people who have been in the industry for a while...

Be confident. If you want to be a model, you must believe that you are a model! Be confident in yourself and act like a model. Psyche yourself up before a shoot and act like you know what you are doing. Plan and prepare for your shoots, then when you show up you will feel ready...and more confident.

Spread your legs. When you stand or sit with your legs together, they look much larger in pictures. If you look through a magazine, you will notice that many models pose with their legs apart. When you are posing, try to stand or sit with your legs apart, and your legs will look smaller in the pictures.

Get plenty of sleep. Nothing is worse than coming to a shoot with red eyes and no energy. While some eye drops will reduce redness, sometimes it is still noticeable in the pictures. If you are serious about modeling, make sure you get the rest you need to look your best.

Consider body tape. Models and beauty contestants have been using all kinds of tape for many years to manipulate their body and control their clothes. Some models wrap their bodies in tape to make them look smaller, while others use the tape to make themselves look larger. The most popular use of tape is create cleavage or to hold the breasts up when going without a bra. There are even companies that make tape for the body (i.e. Shape Tape).

Dress for success. If you want people to see you as a professional model, then you need to dress like a professional model. What you wear and how you look are critical to your success as a model. To learn more about dressing for success, please click HERE.
